Founded in 1970, INTERMEAT is a company dedicated to the production of chilled & frozen meat produtcs that during the last 35 years has become a reference point for quality in the food sector. Its philosophy is based on a mix of innovation & tradition.
The company's origins are those of a family firm rearing livestock that has evolved through the sale of artisan meat products to become a specialist business supplying semi-finished meat products for food manufacturers and chefs.

After starting the business in Pamplona, and as a result of the dedication and effort of all the staff at INTERMEAT, the company moved to Berrioplano (Navarra) in 1987, doubling the factory size 10 years later. Today, the company focus only on products of the highest quality has meant constant growth and the need for new facilities of 6,500m2 in Mutilva Baja (Navarra), where INTERMEAT employs the very latest in cutting technology, roasting ovens and freezer tunnels.
In this sense, we should highlight the importance of the system of freezing known as IQF (individually quick frozen) that guarantees the optimum preservation of all the properties, flavours and texture of the ingredients in a way that makes them ready to mix.
The introduction of the IQF process, added to the skill and professionalism of INTERMEAT's workforce, has made the company the leader in its field, with a wide list of suppliers and products to meet the varied needs of their clients. This flexible and innovative approach has meant that leading ready meal producers rely on INTERMEAT, both in Spain and throughout Europe.
